Background
About Tim
Tim Hyde is a physiotherapist who loves helping people keep doing what they love -- whether that is running, sport, or just feeling strong and capable day to day. He is calm, practical, and big on clear explanations, so you always know what is going on, why it hurts, and what the plan is.
Tim has a special interest in running physiotherapy, helping with everything from niggles that will not settle to return-to-run plans after injury -- building strength, improving load tolerance, and keeping you moving with confidence.
Tim can tailor expert hands-on treatment to your needs to provide fast, effective pain relief. He also has extensive experience in exercise rehabilitation, and will progress you from pain and injury to a level of function you would have never thought possible.
Rehabilitation and return to sport is where Tim does some of his best work — guiding people through the full journey from injury back to performing, whether that is a professional athlete or someone who simply wants to get back to their sport on the weekend. He applies the same structured approach either way.
Tim also particularly enjoys treating neck pain, where the right hands-on treatment can produce noticeable relief almost immediately — one of the most satisfying results in the clinic for patient and physio alike.
Tim brings genuine athlete experience of his own: he competed in sprint kayaking to Junior International level, training and racing at a high level of competition. That background gives him first-hand understanding of the demands of serious training, the frustration of injury, and what it actually takes to return to sport properly.
