Background
About Alex
Alex brings a wealth of experience in health, fitness, and rehabilitation to Move Physiotherapy, with a special focus on sporting injuries and performance-based rehab. A graduate of The University of Notre Dame, Alex has established himself as a trusted name in the Move Physiotherapy community, known for delivering results-driven treatment and high-level sports injury management.
Before joining Move Physiotherapy, Alex worked as a Gym Instructor and Personal Trainer at Fremantle Leisure Centre and Boom Fitness in East Fremantle. This background gives him a significant edge in sport-specific rehab, return-to-play programming, and strength and conditioning for injury prevention and performance enhancement.
Alex holds a strong clinical interest in sporting injuries, lower back pain, and return-to-gym rehabilitation, as well as helping clients optimise their performance in sport, training, and work environments. His approach combines detailed assessment with progressive, tailored rehab strategies to ensure long-term outcomes — not just short-term fixes.
He integrates manual therapy techniques — including massage, joint mobilisations, and muscle release work — with individually tailored rehabilitation programs that address both the symptoms and root causes of injury. He works with clients of all ages, from weekend warriors to elite performers.
