Looking For Physiotherapy After A Car Accident?
If you have been recently injured in a car accident – even as a cyclist or pedestrian – you may be eligible to receive physiotherapy which is funded by the Insurance Commission of WA (ICWA).
Regardless of the severity of your injury, it is important to be assessed by a medical professional, and if required, commence treatment as soon after your accident as possible. Pain can occasionally become persistent and last a number of weeks or months following a car accident which can become exceptionally frustrating for those involved.
For your claim to be processed through the ICWA, you will need to have a referral from your treating doctor and lodge a claim with the ICWA prior to attending. We have outlined the process you need to take to start your insurance claim in this article. During your initial appointment, you will be required to present a copy of your doctors referral letter and your ICWA claim number.
Following your accident Move Physiotherapy will assist you with a personalised treatment program, and keep all health professionals and third party insurers up to date during your rehabilitation.
Move Physiotherapy does not charge you an out of pocket expense for physiotherapy with an ICWA claim.
