Jenny Tran
Physiotherapist – Booragoon
Jenny is a passionate and enthusiastic physiotherapist who joined the Move Physiotherapy team in 2021.
With a strong gym and exercise background, Jenny combines her manual therapy skills with an expert level of exercise rehabilitation. She understands the importance of rehabilitation in recovering from even the most seemingly minor injuries, and restoring full strength, mobility and joint awareness in preventing further injuries.
Jenny’s strength and conditioning background has been highlighted by competing at a light-weight level in both State and National Powerlifting for over 5 years. She has experience refereeing, coaching and handling Powerlifters in competitions; and is therefore an expert physiotherapist for those looking for guidance with gym programs. Furthermore, Jenny has recently developed an interest in MMA, picking up Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and participating in a Novice competition. She is currently an Army Reserve soldier, and understands the injuries associated with strenuous occupations.
However, whilst Jenny enjoys working with the younger athlete, she also has experience working with those who have been limited in their physical activity participation due to pain or injury; and ensuring their gradual and pain free re-introduction into exercise. She uses her knowledge and personal experience to provide person-centered treatment.
